Dakaflash – A Fully Adhesive Reinforced Flashing

Dakaflash incorporates the reinforced aluminium mesh from Wakaflex with the creped aluminium top sheet and butyl backing from Smartform.

Dakaflash can be installed in full 5 metre lengths. It is non-toxic and lightweight, and can be installed up to 50% quicker than lead.

• Internal aluminium mesh – providing rigidity and a lasting memory when dressed to roof surface
• Fully self-adhesive butyl backing
• Complies with:
  • AS/NZS 2904:1995 ‘Damp Proof Courses and Flashing’
  • AS/NZS 4020:2005 ‘Testing of products for use in contact with drinking water’
• Can be used as part of a BAL 19 system

Best For: Corrugates metal or Polycarbonate (such as verandahs and carports). Perfect for flashing maintenance by going under existing flashing that’s prone to leakage.
